Refund Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
We want you to be happy with Erudizio. Because the service delivers AI-generated digital goods that consume real computing resources the moment you generate them, this policy explains when refunds are and are not available, and how to request one.
1. Failed generations are never charged
If an ebook fails to generate, you are not charged a credit for it. A credit is only spent when you approve an ebook’s plan, and you can regenerate freely within our fair-use limits at no extra cost. This means most issues are resolved without needing a refund at all — just try again or contact us.
2. Subscriptions
- You can cancel your subscription at any time, online and in a few clicks, from the billing portal in your account — the same way you subscribed. Cancellation stops all future renewals.
- After you cancel, you keep access and any remaining allowance until the end of the current billing period. Outside the statutory withdrawal period described in section 4, we do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period or for unused monthly allowance, which does not roll over.
- If you were charged in error, or a renewal occurred that you believe was a genuine mistake, contact us — we review these case by case and aim to be fair.
3. One-time packs
- A one-time pack grants one ebook credit that never expires.
- If you have not used the pack credit (no ebook plan approved against it), you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Once the credit has been used to generate an ebook, the pack is considered delivered and consumed, and is generally non-refundable.
4. EEA / UK consumers: right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the United Kingdom (that is, you are buying outside your trade or profession), you have 14 days from the day your contract is concluded to withdraw from it, for any reason and without justification. You do not need to give us a motive.
Subscriptions. Erudizio is a digital service: we host the studio, run the generation, and keep improving it for as long as you subscribe. That means the withdrawal right is not extinguished simply because you started using the service. If you withdraw within the 14-day window, we refund what you paid, minus a proportionate amount for the service you actually used during that window — in practice, the value of any ebook credits you spent. If you spent none, you get a full refund.
One-time packs. When you buy a pack you are asked to expressly request that we begin immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right once the credit is spent on a generation. If you gave that consent and the credit has been used, the pack is delivered and no longer refundable. If you did not give it, or the credit is still unused, you keep the full 14-day withdrawal right.
To withdraw, simply email support@erudizio.com from the address on your account and say you are withdrawing. We refund within 14 days of being informed, to your original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory statutory rights.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@erudizio.com from the address on your account, with your order or payment reference and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe; the time to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. Fair-use and goodwill
Beyond the cases above, we handle refund requests reasonably and in good faith. If something went wrong on our side, we will make it right. If you have refined a book far beyond normal fair use, we may reach out about it rather than simply cutting you off. Questions? Contact support@erudizio.com.
